Before you send a menu to anyone, it is fair to ask who is going to read it and what happens to it afterwards. Here are both, in full.
Folio is menu-review software from NutraPlanner, a nutrition software company in Calgary, Alberta. Fraser Nutrition provides the professional service. Every review is read and signed by a dietitian registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta.
The questions an administrator asks before sending anything, answered directly.
A dietitian registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta. The review letter carries their name, registration and the date they signed it — the same details an operator would give a regulator.
Folio is NutraPlanner’s menu-review software. It organises the menu and assembles the evidence; Sandra Fraser of Fraser Nutrition performs and signs the professional review.
NutraPlanner develops Folio. Fraser Nutrition provides the professional menu-review service, led by Sandra Fraser.
It is used to produce your review and nothing else. It is never sold, never published, and never used as an example without asking you first. Folio never asks for resident information — no field on any form invites it — and anything of that kind sent to us by mistake is deleted rather than kept.
Folio is small on purpose. A dietitian reads every menu and signs every letter; the software exists so she spends her time on judgement rather than on transcription.

Sandra is a registered dietitian in Alberta and British Columbia, with years of experience in long-term care and menu review. She reviews your menu and supporting information, explains her findings, and signs the professional review. Folio organises the evidence and supports delivery; professional judgement remains hers.

He builds the audit. An engineer whose career has been spent in industries where a regulator eventually asks you to prove it: defence and aerospace, where software correctness has to be demonstrated to a certifying authority rather than asserted; emissions reporting for Alberta oil and gas, where every figure filed under the Energy Regulator’s directives has to be reconstructable years after it was filed; and electric utility operations, where the controls protecting grid infrastructure have to produce audit-ready evidence on demand. Folio is built on that habit. It names the standard behind every finding, records what it measured and on which days, and says plainly when your menu could not answer a question instead of filling the gap.
