NutraPlanner

For GLP-1 clinics

A weekly nutrition program for your clinic's patients on GLP-1 medication

Protein targets, recipe filters, symptom logs and a follow-ups worklist for the dietitian running a nutrition program for patients on GLP-1 medication. Medication decisions stay with your prescribers.

A program that releases every week

Programs send a new lesson each week to a group of patients who start together (a cohort), and patients follow along in the client portal. A dietitian sets it up once and runs it for many patients.

Protein and food guidance a dietitian can check

Filter recipes by restrictions and nutrients, set a protein target for each patient, and send meal-plan PDFs with your branding.

A follow-ups worklist

Patients log symptoms with a symptom type and a 0–10 severity, and the worklist shows who to follow up with first.

How it works

  1. 1. Import your patients

Bring in your patient list from a CSV file and update records in bulk.

  2. 2. Start a cohort

Create a cohort, enrol patients and release the program week by week in the portal.

  3. 3. Patients log symptoms

Patients log symptoms in the portal with a symptom type and a 0–10 severity.

  4. 4. Work the follow-ups list

The dietitian works down the follow-ups list and books the next visit from the same record.

Frequently asked questions

Does the program give medication advice?

No. NutraPlanner gives no medication or dosing advice, and questions about medication belong with the prescriber. We do not claim the program changes weight or any clinical result. Cohort outcomes are not available yet; when they are, they will report what patients logged and will not be a clinical study.

What does the dietitian still decide?

Everything clinical. Your clinic's dietitian chooses who is enrolled, what each patient receives and how to respond to what patients log, and the prescriber decides on medication. The recipe filters suggest foods; they are not safety checks.

Has a dietitian reviewed the GLP-1 content?

Not yet. The 12-week program and the weekly check-in form are created as drafts when you set up a GLP-1 clinic, and their content is under clinical review. Until that review is finished, treat them as drafts that your own dietitian approves before any patient sees them.

Is patient data stored in Canada?

Yes. NutraPlanner's application servers and database are hosted in Canada (Toronto). Some subprocessors are in the US; they are listed in our Privacy Policy. Sensitive patient information is also encrypted at the field level.
